Gondogoro Peak is located near the pass of the same name in the north of picturesque Hushe Valley in Baltistan. It is an ideal short and easy trek.

After reaching Hushe by jeep one passes through the summer settlements of Saicho Dalzangpa and Gondogoro under the views of Masherbrum Peak (7821 m), Masherbrum Pass (5364 m), Trinity Peak (6700 m), Laila Peak (6400 m), K6 (7282 m), Gondogoro Peak (5650 m) and shining glaciers below them. Many short and easy trekking opportunities are available in this valley with magnificent views. Gondogoro Glacier and Masherbrum Base Camp are the most popular among them. .

One can also traverse Gondogoro Pass (5450 m) to Baltoro Glacier. Gondogoro Peak (5650 m) is relatively easy climb but needs crampons and ice axe.
